September 2002 Meditation This month will bring the horror of September 11, 2001 before us once again. For some of us, we just want to put the horror behind us and yet out of respect for those who perished or were injured, their loved ones, those who suffered the awful trauma of that day and all human kind WE MUST REMEMBER. Meditate upon the words of Jamie Midnight Song. The future rests in your hands. As we each strive to grow and change in new directions, we are reminded of the lesson of the many spokes on the Wheel of Life. Each of us will stand on every spoke of the Medicine Wheel. At some time or other we will all walk on similar trails through the forest. The time for hierarchy is over; every man, woman and child on this planet is a Medicine Person. It makes no difference who or what we are, what training we have had, or what race we come from. If we would all use our healing abilities to heal the inner conflicts in our lives, we would have the right to use that Medicine to assist others. All humans have been given the mission of healing themselves. The inner peace of self-healing can restore our Sacred Space and that of All Our Relations. In accomplishing this common goal we will bring world peace into reality. I
believe that we can all be Medicine Persons in our own right as long as we
each tend to our own personal healing.
Medicine Persons are not necessarily Native American, Tribal
Aborigine, or Mongolian Shamans; rather, we are all responsible for
working very hard on ourselves and sharing our discoveries of our personal
healing paths with others. The
long and arduous journey we all agreed to take on this Earth Walk is
difficult, but it can be filled with joy.
It is my intent to use my abilities to assist the Planetary Family
as we all grow together. I am
opinionated when it comes to inequality.
I know that it has created worlds of separation that have been
barriers to our common spiritual evolution.
We can choose to see our challenges or to deny the messages
presented because we have free will.
Great Mystery has assured us the equal opportunities we need in
order to make those choices. However, if we choose to deny or not remove those barriers
that keep us from evolving, we will stagnate and die as a human race. I
believe that truth is found in
every path, and so I honor all traditions, races, and creeds.
The tools that come from all walks of life are valid sources of
personal progress. I am trusting in my personal process and the common goal that
leads each of us through the fires of our own fears. I trust that each of you will find the assistance you need to
grow and flourish as you find faith in your true Selves and your
connection to the Great Mystery. The
Sacred Path is the Pathway of Beauty, and we are walking it as one.
If perchance our paths should cross, it will be good to look
into your eyes. From: The Sacred Path Workbook, Jamie Midnight Song ENJOY
